Among them were major multinational corporations such as The Coca Cola Company, GdF Suez, Audi AG, BAE Systems, British American Tobacco, COPEC, Motorola and many more. The event had an international orientation with visitors from USA, South Africa, UK, Chile, Mexico, Hong Kong and other countries.
One of the highlights of the presentations was the talk held by Richard Marshall of Gartner. Marshall spoke about the novelties and challenges of enterprise mobility, and how a company can conduct a transformation to a future proof digital business with mobility as the central drive. The key message that Marshall wanted to get across was that enterprises have to become bimodal to be able to react to future changes in a timely manner.
The audience was also impressed by the talks of Claude Pierre, CIO of GdF Suez and of Reinhard Meister, General Manager of the Bottler Service Group of The Coca-Cola Company.
GdF Suez has implemented the Movilizer as the strategic mobility platform and is delivering applications for various business units throughout the company. Among others, they implemented apps for mobile maintenance and energy management, on site quotes, mobile meter reading management and mobile time management. The solutions are integrated with a variety of backend systems like Maximo IBM, Oracle, SAP. Until 2016, Claude Pierre plans on having 10 000 users live. Claude Pierre explains: “Before we introduced the Movilizer, we were used to timelines of months or even years. Now with Movilizer being used in 7 different projects within our group, we are getting used to speaking in weeks or even in days.”
The Coca-Cola Company is using the Movilizer Platform for Direct Store Delivery processes throughout North America. Furthermore, they use it for Full Service Vending and in their Field Service, all integrated with SAP. In total, Coca-Cola is planning on having 40 000 users live in the next couple years.
After the keynotes, there was a rich offer of live demos for different Movilizer Out-of-the-Box Solutions for topics like Sales and Distribution, Track and Trace, Maintenance and Service. In parallel to these sessions the visitors had the opportunity to see the solutions in actual use. Many of Movilizer’s customers presented their case studies. Among them were Premier Foods, Royal Unibrew, Royal Greenland, Vestas, Cancom, ewz, Wright Cottrell.
The CIO of Movilizer GmbH Alberto Zamora gave the audience a general overview on the development of the company. In summary you can take from that keynote that the company has grown by 100% in revenue and employees. Movilizer GmbH has 125 multinational customers live. The prognosis is that the company will grow again by 100% in 2015. Zamora also took a look into the future strategy of the enterprise. The fast growth is also indicating the boosted movement in the mobility business. “Mobile has become seated in peoples minds. Movilizer is thinking one step ahead. With the ongoing mobile revolution ending in complete new business models throughout the branches, Movilizer will evolve itself from a pure mobility platform to a business Reinvention Platform. Reinvention means for us transformation and innovation at the same time and being the supportive platform in future reinvention processes of enterprises is our vision for the Movilizer!” Zamora explained. “Next year, the event will be twice the size, with a broad range of talks, demos and case studies. We will offer a bigger spectrum of topics and we will focus on a wider range of issue-specific topics for different business units.”
